Lake Tahoe Fall 1999 Report |
Day 1 of 3
I drove up from the Bay Area and stopped on the way to South Lake
Tahoe at Twin Bridges. There I hiked to Horsetail Falls. Fall colors by Fallen Leaf Lake
Afterwards, I met up with Nancy and we walked on the Fallen Leaf
Lake Trail at the northern end of the lake. We saw lots of yellowing
aspens and enjoyed the view from the northeastern shore of the
lake. East shore of Fallen Leaf Lake
